owner and workers are rude and terrible attitude. owner did my eyebrows in such a hurry and didn’t even ask me what shape i wanted my eyebrows to be. then when i asked for straight eyebrows, she did the complete opposite and gave me arched eyebrows. terrible services, and then after threading my brows didn’t put aftercare like they used to.
I have been coming to City Eyebrows for over 10+ years now. Always a great job threading and tinting by owner herself!! Fast and professional work!
This business just lost a customer who has been coming her every 2-3 weeks for the past 8 years. I am used to one lady doing my eyebrows, I only once asked when she is working because I haven’t seen her in a while I was informed by the lady on the third chair from the entrance that she is only here on the weekend. Anyways I let her do my eyebrows her work is fine. So I came by one weekend and the lady I was asking for wasn’t working I figured she was either off or doesn’t work there anymore. So today I came by and simply just asked if she still works here because I came by one weekend and she wasn’t working there. That same lady who is at the third chair from the door was very nasty and I do not know why. She said you always ask when she’s here every time you come when I simply only asked once anyways moving right along and then proceeds to slap my hand and tells me to sit so she can do my eyebrows, she proceeded to do my eyebrows in a fast unpleasant manner, was very rough and because she was rough she lost control of the thread and yanked my earring twice. I tell her to please not be to rough. She was just yelling at me saying I take care of everyone mean while there were customers in the store. Anyways when I came to pay I left a 5 and was reaching to my pockets to get the $2 singles and before I can even grab the $2 she proceeds to yell again saying I told you it’s $7 not $5, not sure why she was very very nasty, she has been doing my eyebrows lately and I have been tipping her.Not sure what was happening but anyways very unexpected unpleasant, nasty experience. Sad because I have been coming here for almost a decade but I’m on the search for a new eyebrow salon.
RUDE!!! DOOR OPEN WHILE I WAS HALF NAKED!!! ⚠️ Warning — Do NOT go here ⚠️ I went for an armpit and Brazilian wax with Purvi the first time, and everything was great—smooth experience, no issues at all. But my second visit was the complete opposite and honestly unacceptable. The woman who worked on me this time (from the first chair) was extremely aggressive and rude. While waxing my underarms, she was unnecessarily rough and even put her hands on my face, which felt completely inappropriate and unprofessional. When I calmly told her she was being too rough (and I’ve been getting waxed for years, so I know what’s normal), she got visibly upset and defensive instead of adjusting. It got worse—she LEFT THE ROOM WITH THE DOOR OPEN while I was half naked with no shirt on. That alone is a huge violation of privacy and basic professionalism. At checkout, there was another issue. She handed me the money folded, so I counted it and made a small mistake. Instead of handling it respectfully, she gave me a nasty attitude and said, “What do you want?”—twice—with a confrontational tone. On top of everything, my armpits were left irritated/burnt and she didn’t even remove all the hair. I left uncomfortable, disrespected, and honestly shocked at how I was treated. I didn’t tip because the service did not deserve it. Please save yourself the experience and go somewhere else
I am very disappointed with my last visit to city brow . I have been traveling from NYC to have my eyebrows done for over 5yrs and this past Saturday the person who I believe owns or manages the establishment fought with me about pricing, said it was 7dollars instead of the 5 dollars I’ve been paying for years and which is advertised all over the window , She loudly argued with me about it for at least 2minutes and was refusing to even accommodate me , she claimed the price went up after Covid which is not true , I’ve been many times since Covid and paid 5. Unprofessional!!! Unacceptable!!! Shes not honest and she is not a nice person. RUDE !
